Can anyone recommend a boiler installer in Midlands area?

I just had a new boiler fitted by ADS Plumbing & Heating in Derby. I needed a large (45kW), which meant that most domestic fitters were not suitable. BG sent their commercial person, but their quote was £2500 more than ADS. Very pleased with their price, service and the installation.

I use Midland Boiler Care who are based in Leicester. They installed and maintain our boiler and boiler mate.

I can highly recommend my friend Matthew who runs Bond Plumbing and Heating.
He is willing to travel from his base in the East Midlands.
Give him a call for a chat and to arrange a quote 07815 208133

He's offering a 5% Z4 Forum discount too!

Whats the average cost for a new, standard boiler install these days?

That's a 'can of worms' question. Depends on a number of factors, area of country, whether like for like replacement bearing in mind condensing boilers are now required under the Building Regulations, flue alterations, requirements for condense drainage etc. and a recent thread indicated prices ranging from £300 to £1500 for labour exclusive of materials and VAT.

Apologies. Was a bit vague!

- London area
- Worcester Greenstar Junior 24i (but might want to 'up' the heavy duty-ness!)
- No flue alterations etc needed

Sounds like about £800 labour inclusive plus the price of materials.

[apologies for thread hijack OP]
