Hi all,

Mark our new //M owner has collected his Zed and on the way down has had a rear puncture and is stuck in a travel lodge in Perth!! :(

Can't locate a replacement tyre (Michelin) only Hankooks available and that's at 11am tomorrow. :o

I know it's a big ask but anyone up there have a rear that Mark could use - (he could leave a deposit and return the wheel by courier).

I thought it was worth a post - it's a way Mark could get home and only have to replace his one Michelin instead of paying out for Hankooks which he then will replace.

Anyone able to help out a new forumite? :)

Thanks all

Tbh for the hassle just by one tyre to get home then swap out and whack on eBay. Shouldn't loose too much that way.

whats our thoughts on a mis match on the same axle for approx 300 miles ? then as you say take it off when the right Pilot sport becomes available ?

No issue at all over such a distance & majority straight line .
Id fit the nearest cheapest rubber available as a temp fix , he could go anywhere from 225 40 as a temp measure . think about the cars with spacesavers

Did discuss your suggestion. Don't think he can face the long journey at the reduced speed Rob - going to go for the pair of Hankooks - all he could get. Just want's to get it home and garaged asap and then he'll sort out the Michelins.
