Camera Advise

Morning!

Now i know this could be a difficult subject as i know the options out there are wide! but! myself and the girlfriend want a new camera, i need one for my detailing business and she wants a new one for her Blog.

Currently looking for a bridge camera no more than about £130.

Any Advise would be great

A used Nikon D40 & kit lens might just be within budget. I say DSLR as most bridge cameras in the price range have tiny noisy sensors which won't show your detailing work very well.
 
I bought a Nikon P500 brand new on EBay last month for my daughter for £75! A great little camera, with fantastic zoom and video capabilities. Not a DSLR, but then you don't need to carry a bagful of lenses around.

Shop around for a superseded model and you can get a bargain.

Getting good images of a shiny car is actually more about the lighting than the camera. Have a look on the detailing forums at pics you like and ask them what they use, and how they light the cars/panels.
All other things being equal, if it's indoors with artificial light or mix of light sources a DSLR will cope better than a bridge camera or zoom compact.
