What about best colour for a silver grey car??

I'm thinking red, black or maybe bronze?? Really wanna do mine next weekend...

Gonna bump my own post

Any thoughts guys? Don't make me make a new thread :x :poke:

Anyone who sticks these covers over their callipers should be shot

Some hammerite, a small paint brush and a steady hand will make your brakes look neat and tidy.

My little caliper project is now comings to an end! Just finished painting the NS and all looks good. Ill wait until tomorrow to stick on the last 2 decals!

Front OS completely done:

The paint colour is signal blue, the kit come from eBay. The brush supplied was awful so I used two of my wife's make up brushes and they worked a treat getting into the tight areas (yes I did get authorisation from the misses before using her brushes, lol)

I'm happy with the results, will have some more side view pics when the sun decides to arrive :)

£19.00 well spent + cost of new make-up brushes :)

if you ever drive with heavy braking, they wont last 5 minutes.also you may get a few laughs from people especially if you get ones that say brembo or something like that on them

Seems the covers divide opinion 8)
I fitted them to mine because i wanted the particular colour of blue & more importantly i didn't want to paint or have them painted . (done that before with prev motor which did have Brembo calipers  although didnt bother with Brembo decals  )
8 months on & i would fit them again , not because i want to make dummy's think i have brembo caliper covers , but because i much prefer the visual look of the fitted article compared to painted ones .
Ideally i would have bought them plain & added small BMW logo's but that wasn't an option
Many of us have "M" badges on steering wheel & the car isn't one ,
Manyi have M wheel's fitted . not to make it look like a "M" more because we like them .
get over it guys

Indeed Mr Wilks..... would be a very boring world if we all liked the same things, I actually don't mind the covers....but I did paint mine....

They look good!

From the pics i actually would say they look realistic.... And i wouldnt consider myself someone who knows nothing about cars.

Also a while back before this topic i said in a random post how i liked mr wilks BBK and he pm back to say they were covers.... I would have been none the wiser otherwise.

Would looks much better behind my open design 19's... But i dont think they would fit inside my 108's
