Cable routing to glove box?

I've fitted the Dice Mediabridge and all is working perfectly.

The only issue I'm left with is how to get the USB cable in to the glove box - not as simple as I imagined as there is no obvious space to route from where the cable exits from under the ash tray into the glove box itself. Currently my iPhone is sat on the car seat (for music only, it's my work phone which I don't hook up to bluetooth or use in the car), but I want it hidden.

Any one offer some pearls of wisdom?

undo the 6 screws and drop the glove box down, the cable can feed passed the shock absorber thing that connects to the glove box door

As above. I know I had no issues when I put my dension in there on my old Z4. There was a suitable hole already there.
