Bumpers and grills

Hey almighty forum,

Where do you get , or where would you recommend I get new bumpers from.

I have the Standard 2010 set up and the msport bumpers look so much better. Especially the rear.

Any help?

Have you tried your local bmw dealer? Not sure if M sport bumpers are available anywhere else? :?

I have a rear one sprayed orion silver and the black bit at the bottom with a cut outs for twin exhaust.
You can get 2nd hand ebay, usually with some damage, about £80 and £30, reflectors are about £15 each and cost about £150 to be sprayed by BMW.
I fitted mine and took an instant dislike to it.
So is up for sale.
Near Stourbridge, W Mids.

So is that for just one M bumper? :o
It doesn’t mention anything about paint either?

Theres probably quite a lot on that list that you wouldnt need and would be able to use from your original bumpers, like the grills, reflectors, headlight washer covers and tow hook covers.
You may not want the number plate plinth either.
The sun visor must be a mistake.
But as said just buy a second hand bumper and get it painted.
 
I need the sun visor, and there will be a new thread about that. He said that non of the parts are transferable and I would have to replace everything. That is both front and rear bumpers without paint
 
Im sure he must be talking shite. The grills are the same on all the E89s and surely the headlight washer covers and the number plate plinth are the same.
 
I did the M sport front bumper on mine a few weeks ago, just find one off of ebay and get it repainted/repaired as required. There's dozens of them for sale at any one time.

As far as I'm aware the rear bumper only needs a couple of mounting brackets changing and it's good to go but I haven't done it as yet, for the front I can help more.
The kidney grills, parking sensors, headlight washers, washer covers and bmw badge all swap over, you'll need the following parts:

51747903731 - Lower Air Ducting
51747903729 & 51747903730 - Vertical Air Ducting
51747903727 - Duct For Oil Cooler
51117903744 - Centre Grill
51118038091 & 51118038093 OR 51117262829 & 51117262830 - Left and right air intakes, the first two numbers are the older style grills and the latter two are the newer grills with silver strakes fitted, both will fit any M sport bumper, it's just your preference as to which you use, cost is about £2 difference.

I like the look of the silver strakes on a black car, should end up something like this;
