Bumper Protectors

I Live in New York City and will have my car in a garage. Has anyone had any experiences with front and back bumper protectors. If so does it take up all the trunk space or will i even be able to fit it in there? Thanks : )

Had to google this. Never seen them before but tbh if I put some of them on in the UK I would probably get my car scratched deliberately. Anyway it's the sides that get dinged over here as we don't have the luxury of nice wide parking spaces

Are you worried about knocking the bumpers when parking in the garage? if so then why not fit some impact foam on the back wall or you can buy bump absorbers made of thick leatherette covered foam that attaches to the wall. Alternatively with assistance put a mark on the side wall that corresponds with the drivers wing mirror once parked up, this will help as a guide when parking or hang a ping pong ball on a length of string from the ceiling so it touches the windscreen when parked in the correct position.

Failing all that if you must

I use a wooden baton on the garage floor - that was originally for my E85

The parking sensors do a good job for the E89 tho, so its only there as a belt and braces job now! :D

Confused.. Why would bumper protectors take up boot space?

Ah.. Googled it.. Hideous. Use other people's suggestions on here!

Its communal, The real problem is that in Manhattan all garages are valet so the parking assistants cram as many cars as they can which results in cars getting fu*ked up. Hell they sometimes have to climb out of your window because they can't open the door thats how tight they crams these cars in! And still they charge you 450 - 600 Dollars a month. I can't wait to move !!!

Pull the window fuses that will stop the fuckers going out through the window and stop them parking in such smaller space
