Bulb out error after installing led sidelights.

I had cheapo ebay led w5w's in my sidelights a while back but they looked rubbish (more blue than white) and they died out after a while.

I've just bought some osram led bulbs and went to fit them and they work fine, but they bring up a bulb out error light on the dash and the front indicator stays on when only sidelights are activated. When I put the headlights on, the indicator goes off.

Is this something to do with the canbus system? If so, will I need to buy some w5w's that work with canbus?

It's these ones I fitted. Unsure whether they are canbus compatible or not.

Yes it's the bulb check. I think I've got the same Osram LEDs as sidelights - you can code out the check, I prefer this method as resistors or CANBUS compatible will just draw 5 W to fool the system.
