Try Kumho, Nexxen, Falken (the FK452 is highly recommended on here), Hankook are also very good.

Do not put Wanli on your Z4, I had them on a Mondeo ST TDCi and they simply weren't up to the job, as soon as the roads got a little damp they lost all grip, I didn't even wait until they were worn out to replace them they were soooo bad.

There has to be a happy medium price-wise between the Avon and the Wanli :thumbsup:
 
There is a tyre called 'Sunny' whatever you do avoid it at all cost. When I bought my Zed it had four virtually brand new ones on. The noise they made was ridiculous. I was convinced a wheel bearing had gone but turned out to be tyre noise! Was so loud it was properly spoiling top down motoring. Even though they were nearly new I replaced them with 4 new Barum Bravuris IIs (made by Continental) and now the ride is great with little or no noise to speak of. I have 108s. :driving:
