Brushed aluminium vinyl wrap

So the door grab handles on the interior of my car have seen better days so I think I'm going to wrap them. Does anyone know of a wrap that is a damn close match to the brushed alu on the dash?

Have you thought about wrapping them in something different?

Mine were marked so wrapped them in carbon wrap. Look much better. I don't have ali dash trim though so might not work if you do.



You could always sand and paint too.

Use several thin coats... Don't over do it the thinner the coats the better until fully covered
 
You could always buy new ones from the dealer. I think I paid £18 when I replaced my drivers door one.

I wouldn't use plasti-dip for an interior. It peels pretty easily. I think you can add a clearcoat though to protect it a bit, but it's not great.

I've just vinyl wrapped over my brushed aluminium and it went on really easily. I prefer the black carbon, but you an get silver stuff too, which would be closer to the original

It's actually pretty easy. Vents out, stereo out then it's just a few clips, one of which is a bit of a bastard.

You need to get the passenger blower out then reach just inside the back of the dash where you'll feel a sticky-outy clip (technical term, honest!). It's a case of squeeze the two bits at the top and pull up. Once that ones out a bit of gentle force will undo all the other clips.
