Broken Exhaust Clamp on ///M - Help

Well fitting my new rear silencers didn't quite go to plan. The clamp on the OEM centre section at one side broke when I went to tighten up the new exhaust, it was quite corroded, a common problem I believe.

Looking on realoem, BMW don't sell just the clamp, besides you'd never get it over the flange to fit it. So has anyone bought a generic clamp that's worked well as a replacement?

I'm thinking of something like this

A common but not widely reported issue until its too late on the ///M.

Happened to me when I had the Z4MC.

Used a company called Zero Exhausts near Ashford in Kent. The guy is a Zen Master when it comes to systems.

Thanks for that!

Unfortunately a little far for me to travel. But good to know there is a solution without buying a new OEM section. I'm still hoping a general clamp will do the job as it won't be easy to find someone specialised like that up this way.

Yeah, sorry - just seen you're in Scotland! Def a good solution and relatively inexpensive stronger solution to clamps. Maybe call the guy at Zero and ask if he knows any other Zen Masters north of the border?

Will get the Peugeot clamp and see how it goes

Gulp, Peugeot and exhaust together rings constant problems. I hope the clamp is of better quality than the rest if their systems.
