Broken exhaust bracket

Hi guys

Took the z out last weekend, weather was great, top down, only got 200 yards and went over a speed bump when I heard and felt a crunch from below me. Looked in the mirror to see this lying in the road.

Ordered a replacement ready to fit tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone else.

Not quite the same but I've just had the mounting arm re-welded as that broke - I'm pretty sure it was due to removing the exhaust tips which were a bit stiff as it only happened a few days after....

I replaced exactly the same bracket recently on my mothers E36 318ti Sport. The whole exhaust system is in remarkable condition for a 2000MY car but that bracket had virtually corroded away. Very peculiar.
