e are supposed to be at Snibston Discovery Park, instead 4yr old and I are sitting just outside Coalville getting on each other's nerves. EML and emission lights came on on dual carraiageway, so drove on to safety and called breakdown service. Could have diagnosed fault if husband had put obdII reader back in my car :(. Sat here for nearly an hour already. If passing please bring coffee and child entertainment.

I hope its not your manifold lots of trouble with these on 2.ol recently.

Fingers crossed its not. Hope your not waiting too long.

ouch ! not an ideal way to spend the morning - hope it turns out to be nothing and you are on your way soon

You're pretty lost as well as broken down. Think you mean the A511 if you're outside Coalville, the A591 is up near me going through the lake district 8)

Hope you get on your way again soon

Breakdown truck took 100 mins and had no diagnostic kit so had to be recovered. Only EML on now, so breakdown man reckons fault has gone. Will get reader on it tonight.

The one that looks like a little engine went orange, and then the letters EML one lit up orange too. Little engine is now only light on, just went to check myself. Recovery man had told me other way round.

On a positive note I now know what a slide bed truck looks like and it cost no petrol to get home.

Still looks good, even on a truck!

It does, a friend on Facebook summed it up really : " Even on the truck it still looks imperiously majestic - like it's hired local porters to carry it in a sedan chair to save getting its tyres dirty. "

:x :headbang: Just been to check and your are right......... arrrrrrrrrrrgh......
Update : Although husband has pointed out that with the kerbing on both from previous owner, it hardly matters.
