Brembo discs and pads any good?

ECP supplied amongst the Mintex. Eicher and Pagid options. Seem to be a pretty good price but be good to hear from anybody thats running a Zed on Brembo [non-vented] discs and pads.

GSF have vented Brembo discs but not currently in stock.

Or if you have any recommendations for good quality discs and pads you'd recommend for my Coupe, feel free to go virtual shopping for me too and send a link

I have used Pagid for years with no problems,I think the name Brembo dazzle buyers into thinking they are buying something special with the std products .

I've not had good experience of Brembo stuff from the motor factors, so I'm assuming there's a 'motor factor price' Brembo quality level, and another for OE.

ATE/Pagid discs have always been fine (on Z4M, 330D, Alfa 147), as have their pads (not tried on the Z4M though).

Pagid/ATE for the discs

Pagid/ATE/Textar for the pads

Once you throw in one of ECP's 'rare' discount codes, there probably won't be a lot in it...especially when you won't need to do them again for 30,000 miles.

£283 with discount on Pagid discs and Textar pads.
Remind me - do I need new wear sensors too when swapping out?

I bought Xtra Line Brembo Brakes and pads for my front's and I have been very happy with them.

The front discs are 52.73 and the 55.65 for the pads on Autodoc through the app. It takes a weak or so for them to be delivered.

They have a more basic line costing 34.20 and 18.23 for the above too.

They also have the maxline disc's if you dont like hole's:

Link here but if you download the app the prices are cheaper.

Completely forgot about Autodoc. Thanks for sharing.

I forgot to buy new wear sensors and they crumbled when I took them out (I did have a seized caliper) so I don't know if the heat had an effect but for the sake of a £10 or so it might be worth buying a couple.

It's annoying as Autodoc were 50% off breaks for the last month (just after I bought mine).

I just ordered ATE discs and Textar pads. £230 all-in delivered
Will get replacement sensors nearer the time I fit them.

Always check Carparts4less site to compare prices agains Euro Parts, 4less is the web only sales arm of Euro and usually work out cheaper than ECP prices. 4less also do discount codes so you can make further savings. Delivery is always good, been using them for years without any issues.

I used to use CarParts4Less when they didn't offer the discount codes and just had good prices.

Unfortunately they're now following their big-brother (ECP) by pandering to the thickos who can't work out whether a price is cheaper or not without it having an artificial/fake discount on it.

I put ATE on the front of mine and are fine. I struggled on the rears ( long story) and in the end bought Borg and Beck discs. They are really nicely made and were a decent price as well. Would recommend either ATE or Borg and Beck stuff to be honest.

 Thanks. In the past I've either gone Meyle or Pagid for discs IIRC, so interested to see how the ATE perform. I'm not tracking the car; just B-road hero stuff really :driving:

FWIW, I cracked a pair of Pagid rear discs after one track day and a trip to the 'Ring.

Brembo rear discs have been fine for this seasons' racing.

ive been using m-tec for brakes for a while. just fitted a set on the front with their branded brake pads the order was about £100 for the pair. drilled and groved cos i like the look and with their "coating" on them. the feel of the brakes is positive even in the cold. intial bite is nice.

Anyone with Brembo Xtra line discs and pads? Comments?
Is quality good? How much dust they make? Anyone with ceramic pads with Brembo xtra discs?
