Brakes

Good evening

I have been driving myself mad the last couple of days about what to do with my brakes on my 2003 3.0 z4 before I go to the nurburgring on June 26th

I have standard brakes all round at the moment and they do need replacing but I would at least like to upgrade the front pads.

So my questions are as follows

For fast road/track use will oem discs all round and up rated pads such as ebc yellowstuff do the job?

I am tackling the job myself, anything I should look out for? I have changed brakes many times on Hondas which I tracked for years but the z4 is a different animal so any advice will be appreciated.

Please advise me on any other pads you would recommend.

I have been to the ring loads of times in different cars, I always fine oem disc with EBC green stuff are fine.
It's not really a track that is heavy on brakes probably only a handful of corners that you will need to use the brakes hard.

This ^ standard brakes with uprated pads; and fresh fluid if it hasn't been changed for a while; will be fine. It's not hard on brakes at all.
