Brake/rotor question

I replaced my stock pads with Axxis Deluxe. I recently noticed my driver's side front rotors with a browinsh type "stain" around its circumference (possibly rust?). Never noticed it there before. Is this a by product of improperly seated seated brakes? Tried to rub it off and it was pretty stubborn. All other rotors are clean. Any ideas? Thanks in advance....

If it were rust it would have been rubbed off by the pads after the first few feet of braking.

Did you bed the pads in correctly with a series of controlled brakes from speed to slow? If not I'll suggest it's the pad sticking to the rotor and smearing on it.
You probabbly also sat at lights, etc. with your foot on the brake while they were hot to cause it.
