Brake pads for X6

Shortly i will be needing brake pads for the X6 and dont just want any random pad as I would like to keep it with decent quality parts.
Looking around it seems that ATE are standard equipment but Brembo pads are cheaper.
What is better to have, Brembo or ATE?
Anybody any experience with both of these in different vehicles?
There are cheaper alternatives but as I said I want to use quality stuff.

For my first X5, I installed the Axxis ones - excellent, and no more dust.

I did not buy them from the below, but an example:

I read a bit about ceramic pads and many have said they can squeal for a thousand miles or so.
I cant stand squealing brakes and dont mind brake dust as the car gets washed every week.

I never had that issue, and Bing just fitted the Axxis to his M as well - also without issue.
