I am about to order rear calipers for our Mini and have just realised that I have never used the brake line fittings that it uses.
It is not the banjo type ends on the lines but the other kind that just screws in to the caliper.
Is it as simple as this?
Do the brake lines just thread into the caliper until tight?
No washers needed like banjo bolt type lines?
Do they just seal the way bled nipples seal?
And do they unscrew out the calipers easy enough?
Any info would be great, I hate to start a job and not have the proper tools to finish.
I went to change the plugs the other day only to find they need a special plug socket 14mm 12 point. Never even seen one before.
