Brake line change cost?

I already bought the steel braided lines for the front and back of the car to change. Around how much can I expect labor to be?

Oddly enough, I'm not brave enough to attempt this alone....

WAG: 2 1/2 hrs labor plus new fluid. I would have the entire system flushed and brake fluid replaced as well. Unless you have a extremely valid reason, I would not have a dealership do this work, find a BMW independent shop for this.

The fluid was just changed the other day (went to Just Brakes), they did a good job so far as I could tell of course that was before the track event, real professional, even torqued the lug nuts. If I can't find a decent looking bmw independent I'll probably go back to them.

You might want to look at changing the fluid again. If you got it hot and they are messing around with the lines it shouldn't be a major increase in rate. If it were me I'd get the brake fluid changed.

I did the change for the braided myself, and would certainly recommend replacing the fluid. To be honest, by the time I had finished the system had drained pretty much anyway ...

Yeah I'm looking at the front lines and thinking to myself, it can't be that difficult  I should just grab one of the gear heads from work and say hey come help me a little. Gotta change the rear rotors/pads/lines too. I also ordered a CDV finally, so it would be nice to change all that at once.

I've never done the deed myself but have watched a few get done. Apparently, there are some "special" wrenches you'lll need. Not expensive big bucks type of wrenches but ones that will make the job much easier. Someone will post what wrenches I am referring to, I'm sure.

Hmm $229 for pads/rotors/fluid, I'm not sure that took into account the brake lines. I may just do this myself at the base hobby shop.
