Brake fluid date reminder

I've had my brake fluid changed but the dash reminder hadn't been reset. I've found the procedure and reset it. The thing is, it now says 08.13. i.e. one year from now. Shouldn't it add two years?
Before anyone asks, yes the time and date are set correctly. :lol:

It was reset late. It had been saying 11.11 (which doesn't tie in with the other work done), but hasn't added two years to that either.

Would 11.11 be related to when it was manufactured at all?
