Brake Caliper Paint colour

Plan on refurbishing my calipers, but have no idea colour should I paint them.....?
Appreciate thoughts/comments
Car is an E86 Coupe, Titan Silver.

I bought black for mine so it hides anything not perfect, from POR. Calliper paint.

Did any of the Z4's ever have a logo or wording on the calipers?
They are not the biggest, so I can't imagine they did.

Previous owner painted mine black, I had to replace a front one which is silver. Quite like the way it looks, brightens up the wheel area. So can’t make my mind up either would like to paint them all silver but can’t be asked, sorry, not much help but I voted silver.

I'm not a big fan of bright colours on calipers unless its the way they left the factory. So I voted for silver.

If you don't mind it standing out, red calipers are my favorite and look really nice on a silver vehicle. My blue calipers are not even visible and I have ordered some red Brembos for it. Just depends on what you like. 8)

If you go 'blue' (I did), the caliper paint sold in Halfords is very similar to the blue on the BMW logo
IIRC they also do Red, yellow, or silver
I used the brush on one, not aerosol

Ive gone for a fairly dark silver-grey, since our callipers aren’t of the slick Brembo-type that I’d want to draw extra attention to, but I did want them to look fresh and nicely finished. Note that they dried up a shade or two darker. It doesn’t stand out with the wheels fitted, which is what I went for

I did not reply to the poll as I am pretty even between Blue/Red/Yellow if you want the calipers to contrast with the Silver, or Silver/Black if you want them to blend.

Looks like Silver is the going color by members or at least to provide a muted color as you were looking for, need a pic on car when you are finished .
