Decided to go for it. So me and the top master tech used our two way mighty vac hand pump and sucked everything out of the master cylinder. Then using a small funnel and fender covers we filled it back up with super blue.
Starting from the right rear wheel we worked our way around. The older fluid had a reddish hue to it so it was pretty easy to see in the catcher we made out of a small Gatorade bottle and some 1/4 inch hose, when the fluid got really blue.
Did all four with no problem. We only had to refill once for the brakes. Then refilled again for the clutch which was a pain because none of us had a line wrench let alone a regular open/box end wrench that fit. We found an obscure SAE size the worked. All is well. And I have a third of the liter can left. Put all the wheels back on with a nifty Teflon sleeved socket to protect my VMR's and torqued them down.
We're going to the luray taverns in Virginia sat and Sunday. And driving part of skyline drive to the peak of Hogback mountain at almost 3500 ft. I'm pretty excited.
