Brake and Clutch Pedal play

Hi All,

I have just noticed that my clutch and brake pedals have a bit of side to side play. Not sure if a bushing has worn out or something else. It's around 10mm of side to side play. Never had it before in any of my other BMW's. I can feel it under my foot and is a little annoying. Has any one else had this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I previously changed pedal bushes in an e60 pedal box and was not too difficult. Made a big difference to pedal feel as it tends to twist before loading up the master cylinder - had covered 200k miles however. I can't imagine the z4 would be much different. Count on a lot of fiddling while upside down!

The bushes were only a few pounds each from the dealer.
