Bought some Eibachs from a member here but not received!

Bit of an odd one this. Bought some springs from another member on here at the end of August and they have never shown up. Tried PM'ing him and emailing but complete silence.

Anyone know the whereabouts of z4loverscott? He has only made 5-posts so guessing he doesn't come on here. Not saying he is a rogue... he may of sent them to the wrong address or simply forgotten to post them, or have had something bad happen...

Paid him on the 24th of August, got him to mail them down to Cornwall as that was where I was going to fit them but failed to ask someone at home if they had actually turned up as I just assumed they had.

Hmmmph!
 
Good luck with your next purchase of springs mate. Sounds like a con. Unless you got his contact details, please say you did?

Sorry to say that just because people register and even if they post a pic of a Z4 it doesn't stop fraudsters getting on the site :thumbsdown:

Yep, way to late to open a Paypal dispute. Just been manic busy since I paid for them and completely slipped my mind. Little bastard!

Anyway, it was only £90 and no one has been injured or killed. Unless I come across the little ferret!

What is your funding method of PayPal?

I had an issue with a supplier, and I will be featured in the December issue of the Which? magazine as they were interested in my case (which I won by the way) :)

I know, it seems a bit daft now but I just assumed it would be fine. Bought lots of stuff over the internet and through forum members (especially when I had the Lotus and Noble) so I guess I have just become a bit blasé. And it was only £90.

Have tried to get somewhere with PayPal but it is outside the 45-day dispute period and they won't open a case on it. My bank are on it now so hopefully they will have a bit more luck with them. Hardly going to loose sleep over this but it would be nice if they got the little thieving turd.

Will let you know if it comes to anything.

It maybe outside of paypal but hopefully you do get somewhere with your bank/ card.

Sadly I very much doubt you will unless an unlikely gesture of goodwill.

Section 75 CCA woudl have given you recourse on the bank if yo paid for goods or services on a credit card but since you paid the fruadster with Paypal and then paid Paypal with your card it's not the bank's problem.

Uh ... not quite. In my PayPal case, it was the bank that paid me - not PayPal.
