Bosch Aerotwin wipers

Well, after several recommendations I replaced the wiper blades with Bosch Aerotwin retrofit. I can't comment on wiping performance as it's either been dry or the Z4 has been stuck on the drive due to snow since.

However, compared to the OEM Aerotwin fit on our E92 3-series, the fitment is pretty fugly. The 3-er has flat arms, with flat blades, whereas the Z4 has arms that extend out, a big fat clip and then flat blades.

TBH I'm tempted to go back to the traditional wiper blades next time round.
 
I have same blades, I quite like the bulk of the blade and can't fault them under use at all, best blades money can buy.

My only problem is with the drivers side blade not making contact at the edge of the window, it lights ever so slightly.
(that said my friend bought the same blades for his 3 series and it was the exact same on his - they are obviously just generic rather than model specific, worthy purchase still IMO)
 
TBH I think that the aero blades look wrong on a E85/6 and as said above don't sit right on the passenger side either.

I'll be sticking to the good old fashioned ones.
 
Any pictures of the Bosch wipers on the car ???

I am due a set and planned on getting these.

I have tried all 3 options. BMW wipers, normal Bosch ones and aero twin. Can honestly say nothing came close too the original BMW wipers. Better built and shifted more water at high speeds with ease and were consistent across the screen.
 
I have aero twins on mine... the fitment is annoying me as being ugly too (sorry, no pics), and it pushes the wiper arm more up into my vision. However, they do shift water well, nothwithstanding the slight lift on the drivers side bottom. The OEM blades don't sit right on teh passenger side either, so not too fussed about that. I have another unused pair of aero twins, but I think once I get through them I will go back to 'ordinary'.

fitnessfanatic, where do you get the BMW ones from, local dealers ? Obviously Halfords are Bosch or Halfords own...
 
I also have them & hate the look, but the performance of them outways the look!

If you find some aero tyre blades that sit alot lower let me know :D
