Boot Tidy or Netting

Morning All

I am looking to secure stuff at the back of the boot as at the moment everything seems to fall back into the Battery/Hydrulic Pump
(wheel well) area so basicaly looking for ideas/recommendations of what other people use and how they are secured to the car.

Been thinking of a couple of options which could involve drilling but not done anything yet, also been surfing the web to see if I can get any ideas from there.

I have the so called extended storage (couple of nets in the boot that attach to the roof flap down thing).

Maybe it's just my car, but they seem worse than useless.

I'm thinking of getting some fitted luggage... more likely just some nice baggage that fits the area well tbh, and leave that in the boot as a kind of organiser.

Diemensions:
Set of two fitted cases for the BMW Z4 with the roof down. (E89 produced from 2009-2016). Maximum Dimensions (cm): Bag A: 27 x 69 x 26; Bag B: 34 x 65 x 24.5;

An additional set of three tailored cases for the BMW Z4 with the roof up. (E89 produced from 2009-2016). Maximum Dimensions (cm): Bag A&B: 25 x 24 x 28; Bag C: 32 x 65 x 18

Hi Margoose

Yes and with the 2 rubber/bungies intact.
It’s early here and I’m even thicker than usual, so I’m having a hard time visualising how things fall in the battery area.

Anyhoo … I bought this net. It’s hooked hammock-style to the rings where the boot lid latches to the end of the boot. It’s not perfect, but far better than everything dancing around. Hopefully that helps.

On my daily I have, from Amazon, a couple of nets with velcro strips on both ends that attaches to the felt liner. Works ok. Random image from Amazon:

I've also bought, tried and returned these velcro pockets. There was something that wasn't jiving with the E89. I can't remember what it was. Perhaps size or location of 'carpet' in the E89 boot.
