Boot tidy options?

How do people store all those little things in the boot of the car?

I have 1l of oil, tyre gunk, tyre pressure gauge and a few other bits n bobs. All of this is in a carrier bag shoved into the corner cubby holes.

I've seen the coupe has little nets on the sides. Are these of any use and can the be retrofitted?

The nets can be purchased from ebay for just a few quid, they attatch with velcro to the side wall carpets,i have 2 in the boot of of mine.
One holds a tyre inflater the other one hats, they do a great job.

I installed two elastic nets from Amazon. I also have a collapsible crate for when I go grocery shopping.

Worth a shot

I recognise that pump relocation cover on the left hand side, just like mine 8)

Where did you buy this plastic rug for the boot? Looks amazing!

I got it from BMW. It's an OEM accessory.

I think the nets were an option - Storage Pack IIRC. You also get a net in the footwell on the passenger side.

My first 2 Coupes didn't have them buy my current one does.

I have a plastic case with Castrol on the front that holds a litre bottle of oil and sticks to the carpet with Velcro on the back of it. Like this:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Castrol-Oil-Pouch-Case-/312674515839

A few bits go in the side nets, but since I put a full-size spare wheel in for a trip to Wales anything else goes in the back of the wheel! Not much boot left though.

I don't have it any more but, in a previous car, I used to have something like this - same sort of material as the boot carpet and velcro at the bottom (mine also had a strip on the back) to stop it sliding around. Plenty of room in it for all the odds'n'sods.

My car has the storage pack but no nets in the boot. Net in the passenger footwell and behind the seat but nowhere else. I think I may give the small velcro nets a go.

I got a bit carried away and purchased a BMW holdall for all the boot gubbins. It’s a bit sad, but it was lockdown, and couldn't go on Holiday!

It keeps various car bits + a couple of jackets and the all important sunscreen.

The most recent addition is the oil bag, because you never know with BMWs
