And mike, i'm guessing there may not have been a fantastic amount of profit to be had from transporting 210kg of nasty french lager, taking into account the rapid acceleration in wear&tear of suspension components?

On the occasion when i trip out in the zed with my good ladyfriend Laura, one must be prepared to make adequate provision of bootspace for her various accoutrement en accessoires, including (at least) :

Various bags, usually 3-4 inc makeup bag
2 sometimes 3 extra, yes, 3 extra pairs of shoes/boots depending on weather, terrain, occasion, locale etc
2 extra coats or jackets
2-3 tops
2-3 pairs leggings or pants or skirts
Various shawls and scarves
2-3 hats
2-3 extra pairs of sunglasses (to match hats, shoes, scarves etc)
1kg oranges (she's addicted. No I can't explain it either)

Myself, apart from a pair of walking boots, usually complete the remaining 1% of available bootspace with bottle of water.

Glad you posted that. At least it means i'll be able to take my new wheels to get the tyres fitted without needing an extra car

You may well be able to take the bare wheels to get the tyres fitted - but will you be able to bring them back home with the tyres on?
