Just been on a long trip from Cambridge to Brussels and then to Limoges in the middle of France, back to Cambridge. Enough luggage for 2 for a week and Christmas presents for 10 people - all fitted in with no problem! Loaded up with French wine on the way back!!

Car was fantastic through the whole trip and we loved it! N20 starting to loosen up a bit now and sounds great from cold start, and I love the sound of it accelerating; especially the growl and the turbo whine!

This was roof up, but after having given the presents to family in brussels, we got the all the rest of the luggage under the canopy for roof down; it was a bit like playing Tetris with luggage items, but it worked!!

The boot I find surprisingly large even with the roof down, the downer is getting the luggage out with the roof still down unless you have comfort access. Amazes me how car reviewers knock the E89 for this. Its hardly a trauma putting the roof back up to get baulky luggage out the boot

Another reason I fitted smarttop as I don't have comfort access and smarttop allows the roof half up function just like comfort access does.

Get a smarttop then! It works better than stock fraidy cat!

lol, with the Smarttop, if you have the folding mirrors is it possible to disable the function each time you lock/unlock.
