Boot release

Still learning about the car , so my options to open the boot seem to be remote key only ? I can’t seem to find anywhere else to open electrically, seen some pics where there is a button inside down near bonnet release. So seems key remote or boot badge

Yes, bootbadge or key fob.
You won't see the A pillar boot button on UK/European Z4's as we didn't have it.
When I get around to it I'll be doing a retrofit for this

If you do my boot release wiring mod, you can open boot in any position roof is in.
Been useful on a few occasions.

You can press the central locking button in the car to unlock the boot. The one beneath the hazards.
