Boot Matt

Does anyone know if you are able to purchase a boot matt for the M coupe? I play a lot of golf and I bring in a fair amount of dirt on my bag etc. It would make life a lot easier if I was able to just pull a matt out and empty any dirt out of the bottom of it rather than having to vacuum the boot on a regular basis.

Got any carpet off cuts you could cut to fit or what about the plastic dog covers offered for sale - maybe one of them would help if no dedicated Zed boot mat was available?

I keep a high-vis quilted jacket on the floor of the boot for obvious reasons but also as somewhere to put anything mucky in the boot.

BMW did make one for our cars but no longer and I believe it was only available in the us. http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?881277-Part-number-for-trunk-mat

Be interested to hear what you go with as I'm looking for one also. The google link above is for non M versions so is not cut for the battery we have in there. I guess it's not the end of the world to cut it to fit but would be nice to have one that actually fitted correctly.

Also, googling shows old threads on thus forum that indicate the mats for MR and MCs werenever sold here

I guess you might be able to get one custom made, but you'd have to visit a supplier. Otherwise they appear to be available still at some places in the US, so you'd have to figure out how to get one back. Quite fancy the ///M embroidered version WLH has...

Looks like I'm going to have to do some sort of DIY project for this then, interested to hear more about the embroidered version WLH has. Is there more information on this somewhere?
