We all know the boot lighting is a bit pants, but something like this looks like it could improve matters?

And these appear to be the same sort of LED strips, but from a UK source

I have a 20 inch LED strip mounted from the top and it's a big improvement. The original light is mounted where it always gets blocked by bags and such.

My dome, map and footwell lights are also all super white LED now, a MUST HAVE mod IMO.

Yep, also done it in mine, very quick and easy mod, really makes a difference..

brighter than, well, a super bright thing

there is a thread on it here somewhere. think it was kicked off by WLH.

Get something like:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Car-Flexible-DC-12V-60cm-White-30-LED-Strip-Grill-Light-Lamp-Bulb-/251172912106?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a7b127bea

then stick it on the underside of the boot shwelf

EDIT: you end up with something like this:

http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=32065&p=433272&hilit=trunk+light#p433272

although WLH put his on the outward face, i put mine on the underside.

Have a look at this thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=32065&start=30#p440003

I thought they had done an LED rope. I was mistaken. Here is a glowing video...
