Boot Leak - From rear bumper area.

Hi All,

I've been chasing a leak round for a while after water collected in various areas of the boot. I originally though had a poor door or roof seal (the car is SORNed so moisture has time to move around), so fitted a half cover, but the problem didn't go away.

Now we have some good weather I've been out with the watering can to investgate and I've found if water can get behind the bumper on one side it'll exit into the boot between two welded panels (see images).

Before I start dismatling the rear end of the car to find exactly where water is getting in, are there any likely cadidates? I've tried looking at images, but nothing jumps out at me.

I had a leak on a Mazda 6 and the quickest and easiest way I found to detect the leak was to get in the boot with a flashlight and have someone spray the outside of the boot with a water hose. I found the Mazda leak in about 45 seconds.
