Boot badge - glue or sticky tape?

Managed to power wash my boot badge roundel off today. Have clreaned up the backing plate and now need to stick the badge back on, but what with? Reg plate tape? 3m of some description or a silicone adhesive?

I was thinking of changing mine as it’s slightly worn.

Yes but it seems the OP has removed the top part of his and wants to re secure it.

Sorry if my post wasn’t clear, Martin nailed it, it’s just the emblem that popped off. The main bit underneath remains, I just need to bond it back on.
