Bonnet won't open - HELP

In need of fairly urgent help.
My bonnet cable I believe is snapped, when you pull the lever in the car nothing happens.

How can I manually open the bonnet?

And how can I see if the cable is snapped and how to replace it?

Many thanks

had the same problem last month I managed to lift it up enough to spray a little wd40 on the latch inside opens up no problems now.

Under the bonnet?
If so, there is no way I can get under it as the bonnet is firmly closed :/

Pull the grill out (slightly lift and tug it), and you can access the mechanism from the front.

Are you sure it has been broken? Often, pressing the bonnet at the same time as pulling the lever allows it to be opened if it is just a bit slack.

Thank you, I'm guessing it's snapped as there is no tension on the lever at all.

Get some one to push down hard while you pull the lever mine was like this when open you need to adjust the top bonnet u bracket undo it put a shim under it

As above. Pushing down whilst pulling the lever inside the car should open it.

I replaced my bonnet cable as it had snapped. Wasn't a hard job, just fiddly.

Another way I have used is to remove the front grill as above and then pull down on the bonnet outer cable and the bonnet should pop open. Best of luck.

You say no tension on the handle, ok is the cable still attached to the handle? Can you get to the cable with grips?

I am only guessing as I don't own one yet but this would be my train of thought
