Recently bought my 05 z4 ... about a week later the alarm has been going off randomly, through some
Research on this forum I’ve unplugged the bonnet sensor and locked the as normal and now waiting to see if the alarm goes off again.
The alarm doesn’t seem to go off when I disable the interior sensors (one press on lock key followed by another longer press )
So I guess if I don’t hear the alarm go off now, with the bonnet sensor being unplugged this is probably a good idea to replace the sensor and see if that solves the alarm sounding problem.
On a side note just discovered my heated rear window relay was missing behind the fuse box. Quite strange considering it’s a real pain to get to... now to wait and test it out to see if it finally is working!
