If it's just a few chips then touch them in, or if you aren't confident about doing it yourself ask someone to do it for you (e.g. a good printshop or detailer). If you are going to do it yourself buy some small modelling/art paint brushes as the integral brushes on touch up boots are always far too big.
You could get the bonnet resprayed, but a good painter will want to blend it out onto the wings and front bumper to avoid an obvious colour mismatch so it will end up expensive, and you'll get some more chips as soon as you use the car! I just had the lower half of my front bumper done (due to damage) but I was quoted another £450 or so to do a full front end respray.
