BMWCCAA Membership rewards

I've been a card carrying member of BMWCCA since I bought my first BMW (318i) in 1999. One of the best benefits of the membership is the cash rebate with any purchase/lease of a new or CPO BMW. I do however have a question about this.

I leased a 2007 Z4 M, worth $57,000 last June and my reward check was $500. Last month my wife leased an X5, valued about the same and her check is $1000! I knew in advance what to expect, and $500 is better than nothing, but it seems we would get more anyway. Anyway, reciceiving that check today prompted me to remind anyone who buys or leases BMW's to join. It's worth the $35 membership fee.

Ok, I'm done :soapbox:

Yup - got $500 off of my wife's X3 and another $500 when I got my Z4 coupe. The membership fee seems quite reasonable under the circumstances.

:D

BMWCCA is a great deal. I also really like the monthly magazine, Roundel. That alone makes the $35/yr worthwhile. The rewards program is just icing on the cake. And a minimum $500 rebate buys a lot of icing!! :D

I do believe you must be a member for one year before you can get the $500 bucks though. I tried that when I got my Z and that is what I was told. :headbang:

BMWCCA is a worth while group.

You are correct. To be eligible for the reward, you must be a member for a year. You are also limited to only one reward per year.
