UPDATE: This car now needs to go - so it's WBAC.com if it's still here in October.
The car has this week thrown an airbag warning light (B Pillar sensor failure) which I will fix. Other than that it's as shown below. Absolute bargain for someone - but with four other cars on the drive it needs to go.
I am selling my brother's BMW Z4. The key details are below:
Registered; June 2003
Model: 2.5i Z4 6 cylinder
Previous number owners: 2
Colour: Metallic Grey
Interior - Deep Red Leather
Mileage: 97, 541 miles (will climb as it is my daily car).
Service History:
Pre-delivery check - Chandlers Worthing BMW on 13.06.03
I have the service book showing 7 service stamps (used-based maintenance) plus one recent service at local garage in Worthing at 82,142 miles in 2021. I have recentl;y completed an oil service on the car, so next service is in 12 months time.
MOT due 29 May 2025. At last MOT there were three advisories:
1. Rear tyres near limit - these have been replaced with like-for-like Bridgestone 'runflats'.
2. Brake pads need replacement on all four discs. (I have ordered these and will be replacing them before sale - NOW REPLACED)
3. Front suspension arm bushes showing slight play (but not excessive movement).
This is an honest Z4 that has only had three owners from new. It has had a partial respray on the passenger side, and in some light you can see a paint difference. But it is reliable, uses no oil, and the hood operates every time.
I have been entirely honest about the car, but I do think its in very good condition for a car that is now over 20 years old. A great car to drive with the roof down, listening to the engine, and soaking up the sun.
I am based close to the Severn Bridge in Chepstow - any viewing is most welcome.
At £3250, it must be the best value 6 cylinder Z4 in the country?
