Hi all,

After over 4 years of ownership, i am considering selling my Coupe. I am just not using it much now and use the 2nd car much more!

Its in the beautiful Stratus Grey, with Oregon beige leather. I am the third owner. Its a manual, now on 77800.

It came optioned with cruise control and the power fold mirrors. It has the electric memory seats and auto lights/wipers and dimming rear view mirror but they may have been standard. Also, aux socket and the black top engine cover.

Its an SE spec BUT, its had Suplex springs and Bilstein B4 dampers all-round, so now rides at M-Sport height but as is widely acknowledged, with that bit more settled/compliant ride, handling- Its certainly great across Exmoor's roads!
Also has all new mounts, bump stops, Meyle HD droplinks and poly bushed F&R anti-rolls.
This was then optimised with a specialist alignment.

Fantastic difference and although it did drive that bit sharper on the original 17 inch wheels, like many, i wanted better looks, so treated it to a refurbished set of MV3 complete with new Goodyear Eagle AS3 tyres ( NRF). Then had alignment re-done for the bigger wheels.

The car has masses of paperwork/invoices- i have had an oil /filter change yearly, along with diagnostic check at a BMW specialist- just been done again having covered just 3000 since last change ( technician rang to say, are you sure, still 12500 until next) Well now its got another 15500 showing, along with another advisory-free MOT. All the other filters are fresh.

When i bought it (60,000), i had new spark plugs fitted, air filter etc (insp 2) new gearbox and diff oil - oh and spent £900 having the front and rear bumper removed, and resprayed to get rid of some stone chips and a couple of marks ( quoted half elsewhere but wanted the best).

The car is always garaged- not driven in rain-, regular bodywork treatments with top products, and underneath gets done every year, along with the arches!.

Also has a ZHP gear knob and machine monkey exhaust tips.

So, with some info - what do you think a ball park figure would be? They're all over the place from high mile, rough/unloved (5/6k) to £13/14k for desirable trade stuff! I paid £9400 in 2016- might have been too much but it worked for me and fell in love with the car!

Its obviously more desirable now with the upgrades, etc but i am a realist as well, so what do the people think?? Be Kind :D

I think it looks bloody lovely op and whoever's buys it would struggle to get a nicer well cared for car.
Does it have sports seats ?
Desirable colour and well pampered with some jobs done and decent wheels and tyres.
Dont think you will struggle with a sale.
Price wise I would say it's worth 8k imo

Thanks James for your positive thoughts. Appreciated.

It doesn't have sports seats- its honestly never bothered me- you can certainly adjust them well and they hold me well enough when pressing on!

Its also had the notorious ABS pump rebuilt by ECU tuning, now with a lifetime warranty :)

Matt.

Well I hope you get a sale certainly deserving of a quick sale.I know stratus is a very desirable colour really suits the car and yours sits very well on the upgraded suspension and wheels 👍👍
What price were you thinking of listing at ?

Well it sounds like a great example of a Coupe OP, but if there is one thing lacking it's the M-Sport seats!

I sold my manual Ruby Black and Pearl Grey leather 56 plate Sport Coupe in May 2016 on 62K miles for a bit more than you paid for yours the same year.

Then realising my mistake I bought a 56 plate 77K mile Montego Blue with Pearl Grey manual Sport Coupe from "james28" later that month for less than £9K. I haven't given exact numbers because other forum members were involved!

I think James is pretty much on the money for your car, but there's only one way to find out.
