Hi guys

I am a new member but have been lurking around and browsing forum, impressed with the wealth of information, support, fixes and advice that this forum has to offer!

Looking to purchase as a daily driver, a 3.0 si Z4 Sport convertible facelift ideally between 2006 - 2008 the later the model year the better I guess ;)

Ideally with the following options, as I wish to keep the car long term

Xenons – if not available - can xenons, halo or angel headlights be fitted retrospectively? How difficult is this?

Mileage between 60-70k max
6 speed manual
Low owners
Preferably any variation of black, Montego blue metallic, or dark grey which is like a gun metal grey

Budget 5 to 6k

Mine fits the exact requirements unfortunately you are a year to early..... May selling after another good hooning season.

The 2.0i sports are easy to come by there's a lot of them about and for decent money aswell. Happy hunting and with regard to problems the usual roof motor, rear springs cracked manifold and abs pump I would say there sound proof. But don't let that little list of problems put you off can't image you having everyone of these problems..... And if you do your very unlucky haha :rofl:
 
Bar the omission of bi-xenons, I think this may be of interest to you if you've not already come across it before.

It is a cat D unfortunately, but it has low miles.

You'll need to up your budget then. Nothing worng with pre facelift 3.0i or facelift 2.5si which should get you nearer your budget.
 
As mr hutch as said , consider any of the 3.0 engines or possibly a facelift 2.5 but it won't be sub 70k for £6k
