Good thread. My first year is up very soon....got my letter and will go for the comp at £427. No probs at all on car so far but reckon this is good value for my peace of mind.

BMW Warranty quote cheaper than Warranty Direct!!

Why do companies do this, quote £602 then drop to £350. For me it's a simple decision stick with the BMW/Mondial warranty.
I was quoted £900 & £600 but can't remember how much warranty direct was. The e-mails still come in after several months from warranty direct.
Anyone who does this to me loses business, a couple of years ago I was quoted £296 for Astra 1.9 insurance including breakdown cover 8 weeks before renewal from the AA. When the same guy called back 2 weeks before the renewal date it was £386 which I declined, it then dropped to £300, the AA lost my car insurance and house insurance for this rip off price quote.
