So was it the dealer that "fought" the case for you or did you take it to BMW head office? And if so, which dealer was this?
 
TBH I'm surprised they gave goodwill considering they didn't do the repair, but as you say the diagnose would have been a must.

good to hear somebody is getting positive result from BMW UK.

I am having an issue currently which is being investigated, as you have seen I posted recently about hardtops and possibility of buying a new one (in certain colours) for a good price from BMW.

after 2 weeks of waiting, I have been told my order has been cancelled and it is no longer available!!!!!! and they are kind enough to offer me a full refund :x

raised the issue with BMW UK and they are investigating :headbang: have to say you might expect this sort of issues from small companies not likes of BMW, very disappointing :thumbsdown:
