Hi all-reading this on the back of the Straight Six car club mag, just wondered if anyone had taken them up on the offer?

I bet they want to swap them over as well for which they will charge a lot more, and probably only if they supplied them in the first place.

Yes I did last winter when I had the 1 Series,

When I went to the dealer they said they had run out of storage space so it would be £30 to take the wheels to the BMW depot at Bracknell, £30 to bring them back and £30 to swap them over so it was around £90, I didn't have much choice at the time as I had bought a brand new set of BMW runflat wheels off e-bay and then took them to my local dealer so I was kinda stuck, I had the added problem I couldn't undo the wheel nuts as they were on so tight I was worried about damaging the wheels so couldn't change the wheels myself.

Double check with your dealer that the £30 is storing the wheels on site and includes swapping them over. I found it a bit of con in my experience :( and the reason why I haven't bothered with the Z4 this year and bought some aftermarket alloys for the Z3 instead.

Tim.

Vines want £40 for swapping only.

I though you would do your own, take you longer to get to the dealer and back.

I do my own, but when I asked them to put the new winter tyres on my wheels that I had bought from ebay, they thought I wanted to swap the wheels on my car hence I know the price.
