Took Z4 in for oil and system upgrade. Didn't want loan car so was given a lift home and will be picked up to collect it.
Just received an email with link to a video of my car having a free "health check". Just a short one of the rear end and the technician saying no problems.
If there had been any I had a number I could call to query any problems.
Anyone else had this? Never heard of it before.
Presumably if there was a problem with brake pads or whatever the video would have shown it and I could contact then and discuss.
I think it's an excellent idea from both sides. I can't have a go for replacing stuff that didn't need it and I can then see that they have checked it properly if its faulty.
Bonus is will cost nothing as I paid £450 for 5 years service when I bought it. Wash and vac and transported can't complain. I did add aircon recon but that was my choice.
Didn't go for the sat nav upgrade at £338 !!!!! Will make do with Tom Tom app on smartphone as adjunct to 2012 car maps. AA route maps 2014 from Aldi for a few quid and I'm sorted.
