Wanted some parts, part of the front under tray just in front of the front wheels.There is a part, looks like a mini mudflap, actually deflected air down in front of road wheel to blow excess water away to stop aqua planing. Mine was damaged . E Bay people all wanted about £60 plus for each side. BMW local main dealer £28. each side. Very pleasantly surprised. If you require parts suggest trying main dealer first.

Good to see you found a deal! 'round here dealers don't always compete well and have to be convinced to match a competitive price. I've recently seen better deals from Latvia or Germany directly. And sometimes 3rd party is the way to go with parts that have a repetitive failure rate -- 3rd party, like FCP Euro, have better parts warranties.
 
IMHO…it’s best to actually look at several sources rather than just assuming any one vendor or market will always yield best results..

If time is on your side then you can often get a good deal often from surprising sources….

Of course where you live makes a big difference…for us in the UK certain European suppliers won’t supply at all and I see US suppliers putting a minimum value on orders..

For UK folks I now look at the following

Autodoc
Schiemden
LLL Parts
BMW dealers often with Forum 10% discount
Euro Car Parts
eBay
Amazon

Total cost with p+p and time to deliver are other factors..

Of course if you are going for upgrades then you tend to be into the more expensive part of the market..
