I asked for a price on the roadster ski system recently, and IIRC it came to around £600 + fitting. And the deal-breaker for me was the fact that the rails are Titanium Silver and they won't paint them, full stop.
The coupe system looks good, not to mention Bond-Esprit-esque, although it appears to require a spot of jigsaw action on the rear bumper to connect to the anchor mounts, which seem to attach to the chassis behind the bumper, although I believe you get blanking plugs to cover the mounts when not in use. (See parts diagram here.) My 2008 Accessories brochure says £150 for the ski system and £165 for the rack, but that'll be without fitting.

I don't think you'd need a new bumper, unless you wanted to revert to a pre-installation state at some later date. By the look of it they cut holes in the existing bumper and plug them with the items marked 6 in the diagram, but likely the bumper would have to come off during the process to fit the mountings marked 3. So with dealer labour rates of c.£100 per hour you're probably looking at a few quid, although in the context of the whole car not that much.lankyandy said:
