BMW M4 - Test Drive Report

Got my test drive at 11am on Friday. In the meantime I thought you'd be interested in the performance figures from the Autocar test. It is damn fast. Look at those in gear times. This will be an absolute weapon on the road.

I noticed autocar had tested it this week and I have stopped buying it recently but I will invest in this copy and the M4 certainly will put a smile on the face in terms of performance that's for sure :D
 
Yes Lee, some of those 3/4 gear times are incredible. 50-70 in 3rd in 1.9, 70-90 in 4th in 2.8, 80-100 in 2.9.

I don't think most supercars will better those.
 
Hm - need to drive me one of those. It's literally embarrassing that they're piping artificial sound into the car via speakers, i can't believe the M division decided that was a good idea - it's almost (maybe it is...) a deal breaker for me.

It may well be artificial, but I certainly didn't notice. Whatever they've done, they got it spot on.
