EVO have said the same though...Breaker said:Intersting they thought the standard M3 was a better car!
TBH that's probably just Clarkson playing it up for the camera like he usually does. It's impossible to tell if it's him or the car that's the cause. Saying that, the M3 looked an absolute hoot: very sideways at times. evo magazine didn't rate the RS5 on test, placing it last in a group test, so Audi have given them one for a 6-month longterm test to see if they change their mind...Jimmy Gee said:The rs5 looked a bag of s**t to drive understeering everywhere. The m3 looked far better in the handling department more tail happy and looks better aswell imo.
Sort of know what you mean about Clarksons driving but I think in the hands of a race driver they would still complain of chronic understeer from the audi, they would be better dropping the 4 wheel drive system or at least doing a 2 wheel drive version aswell. They seem to go ott on the safety front compromising driving pleasure although the r8 is probably the exception.a11y said:TBH that's probably just Clarkson playing it up for the camera like he usually does. Thought that was the best episode so far this series, although that's not hard given the poor standard IMO of the other shows.
