Is it me, or is BMW's choice of yellow creeping more and more towards the actual colour of marmite though ? Eventually it will be brown...
 
It's those rear arches, they just say, 'right then, who's next ?' in a menacing tone of stance
 
Love it. I often see a black and a white 1M and I just love them too. The arches do look really good. Gives a great stance to the car.

Wonder how many of these will be made and what effect it will have on 1M prices?
 
Really looking forward to this launching as it will be right up my street and agree the 1M is a stunning bit of kit so beemer know a good recipe when they see one :driving:

That's a bit of me, definitely. I wonder if they'll hold their value like the 1M? Although a fair chunk of cash up front, the 1M has given depreciation free motoring for nearly 4 years to owners doing low mileage. How could Mrs Bradders not be onside with man maths like that?
 
I would of said 45k. I wonder what the engine will be, and what the rear end looks like (not a huge fan of the stock 2series rear..). If they get a decent rear and a nice block then i'll be interested.

I really dont want to buy a turbo ///M car :(
 
It's going to be a Re-worked version of the (N55?) engine in the M235i. Predicted horse power is 360-380. If you google M2 some spy pictures published in Car Magazine show the rear although it shows only a single exhaust either side so not the finished article.
 
Looks good, and yes OG those rear quarters look very E46 M3 esque ... I like a lot! 45k price point sounds about right, slots under the 56k starters for the m3 / m5.

Interested to see how long they will keep chucking these engines into their cars once the i8 has been around and hopefully proven well.
 
I do really like the 2 series... I think moreso then the 4.

At last something new from BMW that doesn't look like it's been hit with the ugly stick and compromised in style by the Eco brigade.
